Guide to Manuscripts for the ICAP 2002 Proceedings

Introduction

Invited speakers and session chairs are asked to write manuscripts (see below on instructions on how to prepare your manuscript) for the Proceedings of ICAP 2002. Manuscripts are due before the conference if you want to receive travel reimbursement at the conference. Deadline for submission of manuscripts for being included in the proceedings is September 1, 2002.

Note that the ICAP proceedings will be available free on the web for the first time, as well as in the traditional conference proceedings book.

This page contains helpful information and instructions for preparing and submitting your manuscript for the ICAP Proceedings.

How to prepare your manuscript

Simply download the templates and fill in the text. The templates provide the correct size for the manuscript page (6 in x 9 in or 15 cm x 22.5 cm) with page margins of 0.75 in(left), 1.0 in (right), and 1.0 in (top and bottom). Authors are allowed to include figures and tables - the templates below include examples.

A - Download
        - - the generic LaTeX version of the manuscript template (see also the pdf finished product). The font in the LaTeX template is Computer Modern Roman and the scale is \small.
        - - the Win32 Word template, or the Mac Word template.

B- Convert to postscript or pdf file for uploading.  If you can generate pdf or PS output from the LaTeX or Word document, you're ready to upload to the submission site (see below).  Only postscript or pdf files prepared using the above templates will be accepted.

If not, you can find help HERE.

Invited Speakers: you are allowed 10 template pages (see above) for your mansucript.
Hot Topic Speakers/Session Chairs: You are allowed 8 template pages (see above) for your manuscript.
