CUA Seminar: Wes Campbell – Applications of Angular Momentum in Atomic Physics for Quantum Science

Location:Harvard Ory Forum (301 A/B) in the Goel Building (60 Oxford)
Ten Minute Talk:"Quantum algorithms in high-dimensional metastable state manifolds" by Xiaoyang Shi, MIT

One of the unique things that we can do in atomic physics is interact with objects that are in angular momentum eigenstates.  In fact, this is now so routine that it is easy for us to lose track of how exotic this is.  This seminar will explore some of the ways that quantum states of angular momentum may be utilized for next-generation advances in quantum science.
