Non-equilibrium Bose gas in a box

I will discuss two new experiments on the non-equilibrium dynamics of a Bose gas prepared in a quasi-uniform potential of an optical-box trap. In the first experiment we observed the emergence of an isotropic turbulent cascade in a quantum gas driven out of equilibrium by an oscillating spatially uniform force. In the second experiment we studied the collapse of an attractive BEC.
