Biography:
My name is Julia Piskorski, and I’m a graduate student in the Doyle
group working on a molecular beam experiment. I received my A.B. in
Physics from the University of Chicago in 2006. After starting
research in planetary geology and solid state physics, I worked on a
experimental dark matter search COUPP. After graduation, I worked at
CERN for the Chicago ATLAS group before starting graduate school.
